Odds and Ends

While landscape is my first interest, like most photographers I am an opportunist. If the scene looks interesting I'll shoot it. Here are some samples.

This is a fun image I put together for a club competition. The mural by Joe Pagac is located in the warehouse district of Tucson. It is close to the main Union Pacific track in downtown Tucson, but I couldn't find a good location to shoot both at the same time. So Photoshop came to the rescue. I didn't win the competition because I submitted the wrong file! But they all loved the revised version.

For those of you that have come through the Tucson airport, you may recall the art on display. For many years there were watercolors of buildings like this. I spend time driving around Tucson and South Tucson looking for such scenes.

Who can resist the vibrant colors of a balloon festival. This took place in Erie Colorado at the Colorado National Golf Course.

This is an image of the hand painted and back illuminated glass windows on the back wall of the La Plazuela restaurant in the La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe. Many enjoyable meals have been had here.
